The short answer is YES! Using a lockbox can be easier and more convenient for showings. The lockbox also makes it easier for the seller when a buyer's agent wants to show their prospective client the house. When sellers are present for the showing, it creates an awkward position for the buyers. They feel as though they can not openly express their thoughts and can have a harder time picturing themselves in the home.
